Clinical Supervision for Success

Clinical Supervision in Charleston and throughout South Carolina

Working with a competent supervisor can make your clinical practice stronger than ever.

Afterall, they never taught you all this in graduate school

Being a therapist is hard work and sometimes you wonder how do you figure this out all on your own. It requires dedication, compassion, and a commitment to ongoing learning and growth. Navigating the ever-evolving landscape of legal compliance, standards of care, and modalities can be daunting. Your education and life experiences have given you a foundation, now it’s time to construct your ideal clinical practice.

Clinical supervision with me is a collaborative process that focuses on the development of clinical skills, theoretical knowledge, and self-awareness. Supervision is through a compliance lens, with ethical guidelines, industry standards, and legal regulations discussed, to support you in reducing risk and maximizing growth. It provides a structured, and fun opportunity for authenticity, reflection, learning, and growth, ultimately strengthening the effectiveness of your clinical practice. In addition to clinical knowledge, one of my superpower’s is practice start-up, business compliance and operations.

My Supervision Philosophy

I believe in a strengths-based, client-centered and holistic approach to clinical supervision. I recognize that every clinician brings their own strengths, experiences, and areas for growth. Diversity is valued and you are encouraged to enhance your clinical practice in accordance with your values.
